The first winter ultramarathon and first FatBike race in Europe

 

 

Since 2012 in the Finnish Lapland. The Arctic Circle Winter Races is a kind of races similar to those winter ultramarathons organized in Alaska.

 

 

The Arctic Circle Winter Races (before called Rovaniemi150) combine three categories starting at the same time: foot, ski and fatbike.

 

 

 During the first three years there was only a 150k race and in 2015 two more races were added: 66k and 300k.

The 150k and 300k are qualifying races for the Iditarod Trail Invitational (one of the most tough winter race in the world).
